Hany Rambod's 70 Seconds on FST-7 Shoulder Raises
Nov 19, 2015
Hany Rambod the "Pro Creator" is featuring approximately 70 seconds of tips on FST-7 shoulder raises.
Hany likes to use two variations for FST-7 shoulder raises.
The first being palms facing down, the same way you would position your grip when doing these with a barbell.
The second being thumbs up, a neutral grip, with the palms facing each other. This focuses on a different part of the deltoid creating the full round look that we are after.
Range of motion for FST-7 shoulder presses should be all the way up to trap level, but no higher. If you go higher than the traps then you change the focus of the movement and begin to engage more traps.
Use these three modifiers to increase intensity and completely engorge the muscle with blood while utilizing FST-7 shoulder raises:
- Switch from palms down to thumbs up halfway through the set
- Finish with 3-5 reps where you pause the movement at the top
- In addition to your set reps add 5 partial reps at the bottom of the movement
