[block id="special-offer-for-content-pages"]

Betty Crocker ain't got nothing on this recipe! Goodies And Glutes is all about the Mug Cake this week. This is an easy, microwaveable, single-serving chocolate cake that tastes just like your own little piece of heaven. Believe it or not, this cake takes a mere 30 seconds to bake AND contains 28 grams of protein. That's like a double whammy of instant gratification and chocolatey protein bliss! This ewey-gooey recipe comes from one of our very own Evogen Ambassadors, Kelsey Voight. Thanks, girl!

Macros: 160 cal 9c/3f/28p (one cake, no toppings)*

What you will need:

1 Scoop (32 g) of IsoJect Chocolate or Chocolate Peanut Butter Protein 1/4 cup Unsweetened Cashew or Almond Milk 1/4 tsp. Vanilla Extract 1 1/2 tbsp. Unsweetened Cocoa Powder 1/2 tbsp.Coconut Flour (can sub Oat Flour) 1/2 tsp. Baking Powder 2 packets of 0 calorie Sweetener to taste

How to make it:

1. Mix all the ingredients together in a small to medium sized bowl.

2. Spray a separate microwave-safe large mug or small bowl with non-stick cooking spray, coat thoroughly. Pour your mixed batter into the container.

3. Heat in the microwave for 30-40 seconds. Do not cook for too long, the cake is best when it's a little gooey in the center!

4. Add whatever toppings you'd like! We suggest zero calorie Chocolate Syrup, Smooth Natural Peanut Butter, and Raw Cocoa Nibs.
