As the Sacramento Pro shows nears in one week, I can feel myself getting the familiar pre-contest butterflies in my stomach. Doubt slowly begins to creep in my head but this is where I have learned to trust myself and my coach that I will be prepared to shine on the Sac stage.
When I walk on that stage, I will be a presentation of my dedication to this sport. The countless hours in the gym, training in the early hours of the morning, detailed attention to nutrition, perfect timing of my Evogen pre and post workout supplements, and posing practice in front my mirror in clear heels will all pay off. I have to trust in this and believe it from my core. The sacrifices a true competitor makes to prepare for a show is a sign of the passion we carry in our hearts. It’s not only about winning a show it’s also about bringing your best package and knowing you did everything you needed to do to prepare and being confident about it.
The physique I am bringing to the Sacramento Pro will be different than Olympia. I am confident the judges will be pleased with this package much more. It is also a look that I prefer and I feel great about. The big hint is nice curves. In this contest prep, I actually ate a lot more good food and the best part is that my body loved it! Having a steak once or twice a week is an awesome thing for anyone who loves to eat meat. I was definitely born a carnivore.! Also, all the healthy fats my coach added back in worked awesome!
For all of you who will be in the area during Sacramento Pro, come out and support! I would love to see you guys cheer me on as I strut my stuff!
