To start off I would like to thank all existing and new fans who came out to the Olympia to meet me, take a picture, and congratulate me on turning pro. It was truly an over whelming feeling to hear that I inspire people and people look up to me because I know what its like to have the feeling of looking up to someone and wanting to follow in there foot steps. To know that I inspire younger and bodybuilders of all age to pursue their dreams of getting on stage is something I honored to be able to do.
When I first arrived at the Evogen booth at the Mr. Olympia expo I was super surprised what Hany did for me having my picture on the back drop of the banner and printed a ton of pictures for me to sign for my fans, which I love to do! Both Friday and Saturday was a blast meeting and talking with all the people and I always love to see all my friends in the industry which we all share the same passion for.
There was a buzz around the Evogen booth with people that already take the product line to people that were interested in it. I heard so many testimonies about the products and how people love them and how the rookies to Evogen couldn’t wait to start the products when they got home!
The biggest surprise of the weekend was the passing of the torch and reign of a new Mr. O, Phil Heath. As soon as Phil walked on stage Friday I knew it was his show. Saturday at the Finals when the trophy presentation came down to the last two, Jay and Phil, I felt an overwhelming feeling that I felt at USA’s when I knew Phil was about to be announced Mr. Olympia. I was so happy for Phil to get it and like a true champion and a man of amazing character, Jay made his speech all about Phil and the hug they shared was awesome to see! I very much look forward to one day in the near future getting on stage with Phil and the top guys in bodybuilding and compete for gold!
